Here's my first ever podcasting microphone--an oldie, but still a goodie, and a great budget-friendly option.
This is my most recent microphone combo I've gotten. I live in a townhome, so I keep this available for last minute recordings and thoughts when I'm downstairs. This is a great moderate-priced option.
PreSonus Revelator USB Condenser Microphone
This might be my favorite microphone combo, and yes it is a little pricier. You'll want the windscreen to help soften the sound and reduce your p's and t's.
Pop Filter for Blue Yeti X Mic
I have really great sound quality, as I live a pretty uninterrupted life in my home office, but if I need an extra layer to improve my sound, I use these earbuds. They're also my go-to for flying :)
The exact lavalier microphone I use looks to be off of Amazon, but here's an alternative. I use the lavalier mic for when I'm recording media in location. I'm including an adapter option, as well, in case your mobile device now has a USB-C output.
MAONO USB C Lavalier Microphone
Here's a wireless lavalier option that I'm considering purchasing in the very near future :)
MAYBESTA Professional Wireless Lavalier Lapel Microphone
I currently use my laptop camera, but this add-on by Logitech has been on my list for quite some time to improve the resolution from my laptop. When I'm not at home, I record video via my Samsung Smartphone.
I use natural light for the best light in my home office. Make sure the natural light is facing you and not behind you. When I'm out and about, this is the ring light I love using to help brighten up my media.
Auxiwa Clip on Selfie Ring Light
Alright, that's it for now :) What other suggestions would you like to see on this list?
